Easter Day Sunrise Service on Lyth Hill

Set your alarm clock and come and join us on Lyth Hill (meet at car park) on Easter morning at 6.30am to celebrate ” Christ is Risen” in a short sunrise service.

Good Friday Walk of Witness

Good Friday Walk of Witness.

Churches Together in Shrewsbury are again organising this annual walk of Christian witness.  It starts at 10:30am  in The Square, Shrewsbury. After a short service there,  we will then walk up Pride Hill and gather below the Buttercross for a second very short service. There will be palm crosses and cards available to give out to passers by. Please do come and join us for all or any part of this walk.

Mid Week Communion Services during 2018

Mid -Week Communion  
This is a short service with Holy Communion that take place on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 10.00am. It  is usually a small ecumenical gathering. There is a retiring collection for a local or global charity. A very accessible service. All are very welcome to join us & stay for a cup of tea or coffee afterwards if you can

Shrewsbury Food Bank

Bayston Hill Methodist Church is a collection point for donations to the Shrewsbury Food Bank.

The Food Bank provides parcels of food and household items to people who find themselves in real times of hardship through debt, unemployment, ill-health, bereavement, family breakdown, etc., to help them through their crisis period.

Donations of any kind of non-perishable food & household items are very welcome

Special need at the moments for Tinned meat,fish/packet meals/tea/coffee/sugar/tinned fruit/puddings & custard/rice pudding/jam/marmalade/long life semi-skimmed milk/toilet rolls/soap/shampoo/shower gel

Please leave your donations in one of the plastic boxes in the entrance hall of the Church. Thank you

Mens Breakfast Club

Opportunity for men of the church & any friends to share breakfast together and take part in a conversation about some topical subject.

Meets monthly on a Saturday  at 9.00am in the Church Meeting Room. No charge for breakfast but donations gratefully received
